The design comes from Mini expert Pierre Roland. For this reason, the Django 6.70 can hardly be distinguished from its Mini 6.50 class role models at first glance. The differences only become apparent on closer inspection. The Django 6.70 is conceptually much less extreme and more suitable for everyday use. And despite its unconditional single-handed suitability, handling on it is less complicated than on a real Mini.
What's more, the Django 6.70 offers a surprising amount of cosiness below deck. Four people can sleep comfortably inside, and there is even a small galley and a saloon table. This unusual versatility has earned the ship a nomination for European Yacht of the Year 2014.
YACHT has already sailed the smart speedster from France, the test report will follow soon. But here are a few pictures in advance.
The little jack-of-all-trades will première at the boat show in Düsseldorf (18 to 26 January) (Hall 17, Stand A01). The price is quoted at 41,700 euros (without sails).
